As a nutrition coach who launched her own business, I saw firsthand how administrative details bogged down my workday. I remember spending an entire day formatting and writing my first newsletter, trying to write a workshop, cold calling lecture venues and creating client handouts. Simple tasks, right? But, holy time-consuming! Then I did the math:

Eight hours futzing with administrative details: $0.00 Eight hours of nutrition coaching with clients: $1000.00

Now, I never was a whiz at math, but those numbers were clear even to me. I was spending the majority of my time on tasks that weren't resulting in income.

Turns out my coaching friends were having the same problem. In fact, one colleague of mine was so frustrated by never-ending administrative tasks that one day she threw up her hands and jokingly asked me to write her web content. We laughed, and then I thought "wait a minute". . . her new website was sitting idle, waiting for text that she had no time to write, and she was dreading the job. I had a penchant for administrative tasks, a deep knowledge of her business model, and the writing skills she needed. Voila! A match made in sole proprietor's heaven!

So I changed my business model to I focus on supporting other coaches with administrative and ghost writing tasks. As I assisted coaches, I began to notice a common theme. We all needed the same kinds of resources to build our businesses, but we had to hunt for them in a hundred different places. There was no one central resource for all the tools we needed. I had an “aha!” moment, and CoachTools To Go was born. It is the mission of CoachTools to help get the tools they need quickly and affordably, so they can build their practices and their income streams.

I'm a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) 2005-2006 Professional Training Program in New York City and a Certified Holistic Health Coach. Prior to IIN, I was an Executive Assistant for the Rockefeller Family Companies and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. I love combining my administrative experience, writing skills and deep knowledge of nutrition and coaching to support other coaches as they inspire their clients to become the happiest, healthiest, best version of themselves.

I have a private nutrition coaching practice at The Institute for Health & Sports Chiropractic (IHSC) in Studio City, California. I've taught workshops at Google, DePaul University, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Crunch Fitness, Hipcooks, Agape Spiritual Center, Wild Oats Market and Whole Foods Market. My articles have been published on http://www.ladieswholaunch.com and http://bizme.biz. I'm a serious nutrition, health and personal-growth junkie, so I'm always testing out new diets, fitness tools, specialty foods, books, personal growth exercises, coaching techniques, supplements and healing modalities.
